The Rolex Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, organized in collaboration with the International Maxi Association, will take place from 30 August to 4 September. Meanwhile, the Rolex Swan Cup, hosted in collaboration with the Nautor Swan shipyard, will take place from 6 to 13 September.

The format of both events will be changed to allow for the implementation of various social spacing measures due to the coronavirus pandemic. These changes include a digital registration procedure for everyone and a preventive check for all skippers with the delivery of the prizes that will be carried out outdoors with a limited number of crew members.

Parties and receptions will also be reduced in order to guarantee the safety of those present. The owners’ dinners, traditionally consumed at the YCCS, will take place with the necessary social distancing procedures, however the crews will not be present.

Regattas will take place in a shortened format. A two-day gap between regattas was also added to simultaneously reduce the amount of boats and competitors on the spot.
